To me this song means that you have to live your life and not anyone's else. When you try to live other people's life, your not being you. Your so busy trying to follow after that person. You can't worry about haters because they will try to bring you down. You'll always have someone trying to bring you down and you have to prove them wrong. You have to show them that they are wrong. I think this is a positive song. It's saying that you can't focus on everyone else when your trying to catch your dreams.

This is not a bad analysis, but you have too much of the song. A short verse or a few lines would do.
I know this is a good song....be who you are and not who somebody else.
