Afircan Ancestors

Sunrise-June 13,1927

My Great Grandmother's name is Helen Louise Stewart. She was born on a hot day on June 13 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her Mom died when she was 5 years old and her dad raised four children on his own. Her Dad was a very hard-working father. Helen was an excellent student in school. Helen took singing and cooking classes. She attended Dunbar Elementary School, Tentreaty Elementary School and Thurbisen Elementary. Helen graduated from Girls High but she didn't attend college. Instead she made money by making suits for men. At 19 years old she got married and that's when she also had her first child Helena. She had a second daughter named Dee-Dee at the age 21. Her fist husband died when she was 22 years old. Helena and Dee-Dee never met him. Helen remarried a guy named Henery Stewart. Helen sings 2 choirs at School-Hospitality Church. She's a great church member. Every Sunday she goes to church. Helen's been a church member for 3 years. Helen is a very caring person who adores cooking and singing for the members at her church. Anyone in her family would tell you that she is a committed and kind-hearted person. Helen has 2 children and 8 grand children and 17 great gran children. Helen now lives with her husband Stewart and her dog Peppy. The family tree is Helen(great grand mom)- Helena(grand mom)- Ricardo(dad)-Richan.

Doris Jean Truiet


Doris Jean Truiet was born on January 16 1927 in Denton, Texas. Doris was raised by her mother, Ina Mae Kendall. She graduated from high school but never attended college. As a teenager she married a navy man and relocated to Pennsylvania. Doris gave birth to 5 children(2 girls and 3 boys). She was employed at Pennsylvania Hospital, as a dietitian, for 51 years. Doris battled a long life with diabetes which ultimately was the cause of her death. The family tree is Ina Mae(great great grandma)-Doris(grandma)-Linda(grandma)-Chanda(mom)-Richan

Richan,
You were the first student to get this project on track. Now, I need you to turn it up. You have two persons from your family on your site. Decide if you will incorporate the two into one essay of delete one of them. Also, you have some misspelling, improper comma usage, and some other basic editing you have to do. I am seeing "Helena" and "Helen". Please be distinct. Detail the family tree from the ancestor to yourself. Make these changes a.s.a.p. and I would like to post your essay to the ROP website.
